Why choose Assetto Corsa for drifting?

Assetto Corsa is a racing simulation renowned for its realism, ideal for drifting thanks to its precise physics and extensive customisation options. Players can set up their cars for drifting, download mods (cars, tracks) and practise on a variety of tracks. Its multiplayer mode allows for tandem drifting, making it an excellent tool for drifting enthusiasts and drivers looking to hone their skills.

Assetto Corsa, a game that goes to great lengths to develop realistic physics, offers an experience that is as close to reality as possible. Having the right equipment can be a real asset when starting out with drifting from the comfort of your own home, learning the basics, mastering the technical skills and developing your sense of the track.

POURQUOI UN VOLANT DIRECT DRIVE ?

For drifting or other disciplines in simulation games, such as Assetto Corsa, the best feel is achieved with a Direct Drive steering wheel.
 

Unlike traditional belt-driven steering wheels, a Direct Drive model, such as the MOZA R9, is mounted directly onto the motor shaft. This design eliminates any intermediate mechanisms, offering immediate response (low latency), more precise force feedback and a more realistic driving experience.
 

Direct Drive also provides rich and detailed force feedback, faithfully reproducing road vibrations, kerbs, loss of grip and vehicle reactions.

Our advice? Go for the MOZA RACING R9 base, equipped with a Quick Release system, which allows you to easily install a steering wheel available from Driftshop. Complete your setup with the MOZA RACING HGP gearbox, the HBP handbrake, and the SRP or CRP2 pedal set, depending on your budget.
