TORQUE DRIFT SCHOOL x ASSETTO CORSA
Assetto Corsa is a racing simulation renowned for its realism, ideal for drifting thanks to its precise physics and extensive customization. Players can configure their cars for drifting, download mods (cars, circuits) and train on a variety of tracks. Its multiplayer mode allows drifting in tandem, making it an excellent tool for drift enthusiasts and drivers looking to perfect their skills.
Competitions also exist, such as the Drift Masters Virtual Championship, the VDC, etc., which bring together top international drift drivers.
During our training days, a simulator will be made available to our students free of charge. They can enjoy an activity during break times, and test drive our Nissan 370Z, faithfully reproduced on the circuit where the session takes place!

Combien de temps de roulage une journée représente-t-elle ?Le cours théorique a lieu entre 8h15 et 9h en salle. Dès 9h le roulage commence jusqu’à midi et reprend à 13h30 pour se terminer à 17h30. Les éleves se partagent le volant par session de 6 tours, debriefent avec l’instructeur qui leurs donnera des points ciblés à travailler et profiteront ensuite d’observer les autres participants pour parfaire leur compréhension de la physique de la voiture. Dans le cas d’une demi-journée de cours en après-midi, un cours théorique a lieu à 13h.

DRIFTING EQUIPMENT ?
For drifting or other simulation game disciplines, such as Assetto Corsa, the best feel is obtained with a Direct Drive steering wheel.
Unlike conventional belt-driven flywheels, a Direct Drive flywheel, like the MOZA R9, is attached directly to the engine shaft. This design eliminates any intermediate mechanism, offering immediate response (low latency), more precise force reproduction and a more realistic driving feel.
Direct Drive also offers rich, detailed force feedback, faithfully reproducing road vibrations, kerbs, loss of grip and vehicle reactions.
