Every member of our team brings their own skills, energy and unique background to the table.

Here is an introduction to our instructors and staff members, along with a brief description of their roles and their history in the world of drifting:

Passionate about cars since childhood thanks to his father, Romain ran a car garage before turning his attention to competitive drifting in 2011, preparing cars for the discipline.

He joined Torque Drift School in 2022, shortly after its creation, handling logistics and mechanics at events.

Following a restructuring of the organization, he took over as director in January 2024, with the goal of taking the school to new heights by combining professionalism with a passion for drifting.

Jonathan
Strategy and communication

After more than 10 years in IT, working his way up from technician to IT manager, Jonathan discovered motorcycling at the same time, his first taste of the world of high-octane motor sports.

In 2017, he developed a passion for photography, and two years later, in 2019, he discovered drifting. This discipline proved to be a real revelation and led him to get involved as a photographer at the French Drift Championship. He quickly developed new skills in event organisation, communications and project management.

Building on this experience, he founded his own company in December 2020, offering services in photography, video, digital communications and partner relations, which enabled him to gain solid expertise in the motorsport industry.

In September 2024, Jonathan decided to make a complete career change: he joined the Torque Drift School team full-time, where he draws on his dual technical and event management experience to lead the school’s strategy, communications and development, with the aim of promoting the sport and positioning Torque Drift School as a leading name in drifting in France.

Christophe
Instructor, winner of the 2024 Portimão 24-hour race (Lamera Cup)

Winner of the FFSA Youth Rally in 2004, Christophe went on to complete a full season with the official team the following year, competing on both gravel and tarmac. He quickly made a name for himself through his results and gained a wealth of experience in motorsport: races in the Rencontres Peugeot Sport series, endurance racing, rallying and circuit racing.

In 2009, he won the Promo Circuit Tour and took part in several prestigious endurance races, before making a name for himself in Mitjet 2L in 2014. Always eager for a challenge, he also secured a place in the Top Garage selection in 2021 and claimed a podium finish at the 8 Hours of Fun Cup at Le Castellet.

His impressive list of achievements also includes the Lamera Cup, where he regularly shines, notably with a victory at the legendary 26 Hours of Portimão in 2024. In rallying, he has racked up several class victories (Terre du Vaucluse, Annonay…) and has distinguished himself in iconic events such as the Tour de Corse Historique and the French Gravel Championship at the wheel of a Porsche 911 SC RS.

With over 20 years’ experience in competition, Christophe now puts his versatility and expertise to use in training and coaching. His aim: to passionately pass on driving techniques, both in rallying and on the circuit, to enable every student to progress and push their limits.

A lifelong motorsport enthusiast, Snoussi began his career in 2003 in karting and car racing, before joining a driving school in 2008. Having qualified as a driving instructor in 2009, he has been teaching skid control, drifting, GT driving and competition driving since 2010, on both tarmac and ice.

With over 15 years’ experience, he works with various organisations, manufacturers and events, focusing on personalised coaching and advanced driving skills.

In 2017, he was selected to join Frédéric Sausset’s programme, with the aim of competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He then moved into LMP3 prototypes, competing in Road to Le Mans, with a view to racing in LMP2 and the ELMS. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the project to an end, cancelling his participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Today, Snoussi continues his work as a driving instructor with passion and is considering a return to competition, particularly in historic cars, for the sheer enjoyment of it and to pass on his knowledge.

Alexandre
2003 French Tarmac Rally Champion, test driver for PSA Motorsports

A French rally driver born in Lourdes, Alexandre was the 2003 French Rally Champion.
He made a name for himself right from the start, winning the Volant Rallye Jeunes in 1998, before being named Young Driver of the Year upon joining the French national team in 2000.

His career is marked by a string of remarkable achievements:

  • 2003 French Tarmac Rally Champion, with several consecutive victories (Vins de Mâcon, Montagne Noire, Mont-Blanc, La Rochelle)

  • French Vice-Champion in 2004, with numerous individual victories

  • Regular participation in the World Rally Championship (WRC): in 2005 with Škoda Motorsport (Fabia WRC) and in 2006 with a privateer Peugeot 307 WRC, occasionally coming close to the top five in certain rounds

Beyond competition, Alexandre now plays a valuable role in driver training: he has been a test driver for PSA Motorsport (Peugeot, Citroën, DS) since 2012 and also works as a driving instructor and coach.

A passion for life: that is how Jordan describes his relationship with motorsport. A versatile driver, he excelled in several disciplines before discovering drifting later in his career, which proved to be a real revelation for him.
The perfect synchronisation between eyes, hands and feet to execute a controlled slide represents, in his view, the very essence of driving.

Empathetic and a natural with people, Jordan does everything he can to share his passion and support each trainee in their progress at Torque Drift School.

Competitive achievements:

  • Runner-up in the Rallye Jeunes in 2011

  • Podium finishes in the French Hillclimb Championship

  • Podium finishes in the French Rally Cup

  • Class victories in the Trophée Tourisme Endurance and the Ultimate Cup Series

  • 3rd place in the TCR class at the 2023 Dubai 24 Hours

  • 3rd place in the TCR class at the 2023 Portimão 24 Hours, as an official Volkswagen Middle East driver

Sidhant
BPJEPS Karting & Ice Driving Instructor, F4 and Rally France driver

Motor racing has been a real obsession for Sidhant since he was a child. To pursue his passion, he left his home country and began his career in 2013.

As a driver, he has competed in numerous disciplines: the GP2 24-hour Karting race, the French F4 Championship and the French Rally Championship.

Having qualified with the BPJEPS Karting diploma in 2014, followed by Advanced Training and Ice Driving in 2015, he has worked as an instructor across various disciplines. With over 10 years’ experience on tarmac and 8 years on ice, he now puts his expertise at the service of new enthusiasts.

For him, the role of an instructor is clear: to pass on his experience, share the keys to performance, and support each driver in their development, whether on dry tarmac, in drifting, or on ice.
