What is the price of a drift experience?

At Torque Drift School, a drift experience costs between €295 and €1,060 depending on the package you choose. The shortest format, a 30-minute discovery session behind the wheel, starts at €295. A full day of driving reaches €1,060. The Private package, at €2,655, reserves a car for you for the day, to share with up to 3 people: come with two friends and the day works out at €885 per person.

These prices apply to experiences where you are the one driving a prepared car, with a BPJEPS-qualified instructor beside you to guide you. They do not include simple passenger rides, which are much cheaper, nor the generic gift boxes sold by third-party platforms.

The Discovery package is the entry point: it is the right choice for a first taste or a gift. The Half-Day and the Full Day are for those who genuinely want to progress, with more track time and more repetitions. You can compare the durations and content of each format on our packages page.

One thing price lists never show: the longer the session, the better value each minute behind the wheel becomes. Two Discovery packages cost €590, exactly the price of a Half-Day, but for only 60 minutes behind the wheel instead of 90. If your goal is to progress and not just to sample, the Half-Day gives you more driving time for the same budget.

What is included in the price?

The price of a drift experience at Torque Drift School covers the entire experience, with no hidden extras. Every package includes:

• The fuel used during the session

• The tyres worn on the track

• Track access

• Insurance

• Coaching from a professional instructor

• A passenger ride with your instructor

This matters more than it seems. Many offers advertise a low headline price, then charge extra for tyres, fuel or insurance. When everything is included, the advertised price is the final price. No prior experience is required either: a valid category B driving licence is enough to get behind the wheel.

Why does a drift experience cost this much?

A drift experience costs this much because the discipline calls for equipment and resources you will not find in a typical leisure activity. Drifting keeps the car sliding continuously, which puts heavy demands on the equipment and requires careful organisation.

Here are the real cost drivers behind the price:

• The tyres. 

  • They are consumables. We drive on a watered track, which reduces wear, but tyres remain a major expense.

• The cars. 

  • The fleet is made up of Nissan 370Zs prepared specifically for drifting and maintained in-house. A prepared, reliable car represents an investment and constant maintenance.

• The fuel. 

  • Our cars run on ethanol, a fuel we chose in order to operate more responsibly.

• Watering the track. 

  • Driving on a wet track requires dedicated water logistics. It is an added cost, but it is what limits noise, smoke and tyre wear.

• Insurance and track access. 

  • Driving on a closed track in safe conditions has a fixed cost, passed on to each session.

• The coaching. 

  • A BPJEPS-qualified instructor is always on board, in the passenger seat, to guide you in real time and adapt the difficulty to your level. You are never alone behind the wheel.

The price of a drift experience is not an arbitrary margin: it reflects the real cost of a demanding discipline, practised in controlled conditions.

An activity designed to limit its impact

We have made concrete choices to practise drifting more responsibly. The track is always watered: less noise, less smoke, less tyre wear. Our cars run on ethanol rather than conventional petrol.

Our activity also takes place mainly during the winter season, from September to May. During June, July and August, we stop the experiences so as not to draw on track watering in the middle of high-heat periods. You benefit from optimal driving conditions, in an approach that respects water resources.

How to do a drift experience on a budget?

To do a drift experience without straining your budget all at once, several options exist. The simplest is to spread the payment or choose the shortest format.

• Payment in instalments. You can pay for your experience over 2 or 3 instalments at no extra cost.

• Holiday vouchers. ANCV holiday vouchers, Classic and Connect, are accepted.

• The Discovery package. At €295, it is the entry-level price to live the experience without aiming straight for the full day.

• The gift card. Giving or receiving a gift card lets you share the cost, for example between several people for a birthday.

• Sharing the Private package. At €2,655 for the car for the day, shared by up to 3 people, each one drives a full day for €885. A great deal among enthusiasts.

The cheapest option remains the Discovery package. But if you want to progress, the Half-Day and the Full Day give you more track time for every euro invested.
